Overview

BlueWater Federal Solutions is seeking an IT Systems Engineer to support the DISA Cyber Development Directorate to promote cyber security by supporting the DMZ portfolio of missions to include the SIPRNet Releasable (REL) DMZ, SIPRNet Federal (FED) DMZ, NIPRNet DMZ, and NFG programs.  Relevant DISA experience is a plus.

 

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for architecting, maintaining, and evolving the server environment of the DMZs to help improve upon existing environment and/or build new systems to integrate with the stacks.
  • Work with vendors and internal/external customers to determine best solutions, considering security stance, price, and the system configuration. This is to include lab work and testing as well as field implementation
  • Manage and deploy physical and virtual servers within the environment in a secure manner in accordance with government security standards.
  • Responsible for testing and validation of vendor equipment, working with the Tier II operations team for planning changes to the environment as well as troubleshooting/remediation efforts

Qualifications

  • Associate's Degree with 3+ years of IT Systems Engineering experience to include experience with VMWare, ESXI, Hyper-V, Active Directory, Windows Server 2008 R2, 2012 R2, 2016, Exchange Servers, Linux Servers, DNS, SCCM, WSUS, and Web Server
  • Must have a TS clearance and be SCI eligible
  • Security+ CE cert is required
  • MCSA SQL Database Administration; Windows Server 2016; Windows 2016 Upgrade preferred
  • Scripting certifications preferred
  • 10% travel required
