    Summary

     

    BlueWater Federal is looking for a Business Process Analyst to support two branches, Records and Research Branch (RRB) and Content and Collaboration Branch (CCB) within Joint Staff (JS); Secretariat, Joint Staff (SJS); Information Management Division (IMD) at the Pentagon and, occasionally, at the JS Hampton Roads in Suffolk, VA.

     

    Responsibilities

    • Provide expert analytical advice to the Government and identify key JS processes with which organizations require assistance to enhance capture, manage, store, preserve, deliver, and share the staff’s information assets
    • Capture and document business processes and procedures (SOPs), perform gap analysis, and identify organizational inefficiencies using process improvement methodologies
    • Advise a cross-functional project team, drive continuous improvement, ensure adherence to processes, mentor full-time business process management (BPM) assigned resources, build a project plan to BPM projects, identify potential business automation, and analyze the gaps between current state and end state business process architectures
    • Facilitate business process improvement events and projects
    • Recommend or assist in the design of and/or implementation of business process management integrated software
    • Support BP processes and programs at JS level meetings, process improvement events, executive level briefings to include preparation of reports, study summaries, formal briefings, and supporting graphic material in written or oral form that effectively communicates in an easily and universally understood format

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s Degree
    • 5+ years of experience or Associates Degree with 5-7 years’ of military experience with expertise in:
    • Business Process Improvement (i.e. Lean Six Sigma, SCRUM, Agile) and statistical theories and practices.
    • Demonstrated experience in data analytics
    • Joint / military headquarters and executive leadership engagement experience is preferred
    • Must have an active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
