BlueWater Federal is looking for a Cybersecurity Specialist to support the US Army Reserve Command (USARC) at Ft. Bragg and join our dynamic Cybersecurity Team. This team developed and operated the Army Reserve Network (ARNet). The ARNet is an unclassified network of over 65,000 work stations and over 4000 servers and network devices supporting approximately 205,000 total Army Reserve personnel to include military, civilian, and contractors.  The USARC has over 138 systems and applications currently hosted and utilized on the ARNet.

 

The specialist will provide cybersecurity services to enable and ensure USARC CIO/G-6 Cybersecurity Branch and Cybersecurity Program Management Division maintain 95% or higher Federal Information Security Management Act (FISMA) Compliance and Authority to Operate on the Department of Defense Information Network (DoDIN).

 

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive USARC CIO/G-6 Cybersecurity Branch support and services to classified and unclassified networks in accordance with (IAW) U.S. Army Regulation 25-1, AR 25-2, applicable DoD, Defense Information Services Agency (DISA), Network Enterprise Technology Command (NETCOM), and Army Cyber Command (ARCYBER) guidance daily and based on current cyber threats directed by the COR  Additionally, contractor shall analyze Cybersecurity requirements, develop and implement recommended solutions, and operate and maintain legacy systems and equipment. 
  • Provide Cybersecurity support services and solutions necessary to satisfy the USARC CIO/G-6 LOE using Best Business Practices (BBP).
  • Provide comprehensive Cybersecurity Program Management support. The desired effect is to provide cybersecurity program support to the USARC CIO/G-6, Cybersecurity Program Management Division and with all headquarters division staff element.
  • Provide reports and information that identify how services such as Road Warrior Memos, Scan Request, ticketing, request for information responses, and Token deliveries are performing. Reports shall include at least the de-livery status, goals, and whether agreed targets are being met.
  • Build and maintain a catalog of standard service reports that describe how well services are being delivered and the overall quality of service delivery such as threat assessments, compliance reports, Risk Management Framework reports, Command Cyber Readiness Inspection Reports (CCRI), briefings, and Site Assistance reports.
  • Conduct service audits, no less often than monthly, to identify how well services are being delivered and potential opportunities for improvement. Provide reports that summarize the audit’s findings.
  • Conduct reporting reviews weekly with the COR to identify ways to improve the quality.
  • Develop and present briefings and documentation in support of Cybersecurity and Information Assurance Program for all USAR networks.
  • Identify, baseline, review, implement, and integrate security, operational, and functional requirements into current and future systems architectures.
  • Participate, attend, document, review, analyze, and report in support of CCB, CMB, TRB, and TERB Support comments and publication process.
  • In support of the ERB, Review and provide documented recommendations on USAR current and target security architectures on unclassified and classified networks. The security architectures shall be reviewed so that they are generic and flexible and provide the basis for the development of current and future security products and mechanisms.
  • Prepare Staff Summary Sheets for staffing actions. Contractor shall manage and track staffing actions originating from the COR.
  • Track and manage reports, data calls, briefings, tasks, orders, policy letters, and documentation originating from or directed to the Cybersecurity Program Management, and USAR Cybersecurity Program Manager identified Knowledge Management site. Maintenance is required for the site and data.
  • Prepare and disseminate technical, operational, functional, information assurance, computer network defense, and cyber defense material and incorporate information presented by DoD, Army, NIST, and Army Reserve.
  • Develop and present briefings and documentation on a no more than weekly basis.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in IT related field
  • 5+ Years of cybersecurity experience
  • Must have a current Secret Clearance
  • DoD 8570 IAT II or IAM II Certification (CCNA Security, CSA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, SSCP, CAP, CASP CE, CISM, CISSP, or GSLC plus CompTIA Security + or equivalent) is required.
