The Financial and Administrative Specialist will support the telecommunications account management system and the budgeting, billing, reporting and financial management activities associated with the customer organization.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze an organization's performance and capabilities in areas such as order management, credit, invoicing, and dispute management.
  • Work with customers to define and implement process, technology, and organizational improvements.
  • Supports the definition of government financial business practices and incorporate processes into an automated solution.
  • Assist in applying sound accounting and data processing principles.
  • Integrate government financial business practices.
  • Identify potential problems and solutions through analysis and recommends solutions.
  • Maintain, monitor, and update reports for leased antenna sites, changes in equipment, and notify management of upcoming expiration dates for lease agreements.
  • Perform a bench check of radios and ancillary systems using standard checks and mock-ups to determine functionality.
  • Properly document asset identification numbers, repair, installation, and vehicle information into the RCB database.
  • Provide daily liaison between the customer and vendors regarding billing issues.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years' experience in support of budget, billing, reporting, and financial management for telecommunication devices, accounts and systems.
  • Possess and applies expertise on multiple complex work assignments which are broad in nature, requiring originality and innovation in determining how to accomplish tasks.
  • Ability to apply a comprehensive knowledge across tasks and high impact assignments.
  • Ability to Plan and lead major technology assignments.
  • Ability to evaluate performance results and recommend major changes affecting short-term project growth and success.
  • Ability to pass background investigation check for clearance (Public Trust).
