Senior Wireless Telecommunications Specialist with experience to act in an engineering and technician roles for comprehensive lifecycle management of systems and devices.

Responsibilities

  • Creating/assigning trouble tickets for all incoming wireless requests through TEMS solution or Service Order Tracking System.
  • Moves, Adds, Changes (MAC) support for wireless devices, voice mail, and electronic directory services requested from personnel in the field and in the Washington, DC area.
  • Updating/maintaining spreadsheets and reports regarding wireless lines, usage, account discrepancies/disputes, reporting wireless service troubles, and the creation/disconnection of wireless services.
  • Provide routine technical support, maintenance of wireless devices, voicemail resets, and other specialized wireless devices, track requests for scheduled overseas travel, issues, and operational requirements.
  • Coordinate with the required wireless provider to ensure proper billing and services are provisioned for wireless devices.
  • Open trouble tickets with wireless carriers and internal help desk.
  • Provide best practice recommendations on how to effectively reduce inventory and maintain reliable operation

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in complex networking environment for enterprise operations and maintenance, Active Directory (AD), troubleshooting, and security.
  • Shall possess at least an Associate’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Systems Engineering, or related field.
  • Candidate must have wireless cellular experience with device activations, SIM Cards, and general cellular technologies including GSM, UMTS, and LTE. Expertise with Apple IOS and Samsung IOS preferred.
  • Candidate must have familiarization with Mobile Device Management (MDM) software such as Airwatch or Good Technologies.
  • Expertise with Airwatch preferred.
  • Ability to pass background investigation check for clearance (Public Trust).
