We are looking for an Info Assurance/Security Specialist to support one of our military clients at Hanscom AFB.


  • Provide AFLCMC SCI Info Assurance Tech Support & System Administration
  • Provide the Computer Support Technician level of effort required to ensure NIPRNET/SIPRNET/JWICS capability to the customer
  • Serve as NIPRNET ISSO/user account manager, COMSEC Responsible Officer and POC for management of all policy and portal/Intelink management support
  • In the role of AFLCMC JWICS/SSO & Comm Center Operations, provide the day-to-day technical support necessary to ensure AFLCMC’s SCI infrastructure accreditation remains valid. The position will provide JWICS help desk support, Facilitate VTC ops, support defense messaging server operations, provide telephone support (TCO), and Equipment Custodian duties, services will be provided at Hanscom AFB
  • Provide second-tier support to end-users for PC, server, mainframe applications and hardware
  • May interact with network services, software systems engineering, and/or applications development to restore service and/or identify and correct core problem
  • Simulate/recreate user problems to resolve operating difficulties
  • Recommend systems modifications to reduce user problems.
  • Maintain currency and high level of technical skill in field of expertise, escalates more complex problems to Senior Level
  • Handle daily maintenance and monitoring of managed hardware and software
  • Assist in workstation and server life-cycle rotations
  • Provide support to Hanscom network users for desktop computer, mobile computing devices, peripheral equipment, hardware and software-related errors, configuration and connectivity problems/issues, via telephone, email, and desk-side when required
  • Respond to assigned Remedy work orders, resolving issues and documenting resolution details in the work order
  • Prepare, image, and install desktop and laptop computer systems and computer peripheral equipment
  • Prepare and process IT for resource reutilization    


  • Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent or four years of experience in a Help Desk Specialist role.
  • Strong understanding and adherence to COMSEC, OPSEC & Secret, TS/SCI processes, procedures & requirements
  • 8570 certification required (CompTIA Security +)
  • Top Secret / SCI Level DoD Security Clearance a must
  • Must have support, maintenance and deployment experience with Windows Desktop Operating Systems (Windows 7/10).
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory, NetIQ DRA
  • Microsoft Office Products (2010 – 2013)
  • Experience with SharePoint Use/Administration
  • Ability to resolve issues quickly and efficiently
