Responsibilities

Source and recruit qualified candidates to fill company openings utilizing internet resume databases, employee referrals, cold calling, college recruiting, career fairs and social networking; other creative sourcing activity techniques to ensure positions are filled in a timely manner.


Participate in candidate pre-screening and initial selection for hiring managers requesting recruiting assistance.


Manage recruiting reachback support (Temp 2 Perm agencies)


Manage initial contact and discussion with candidates to communicate information on BlueWater and open job positions.


Source, qualify and coordinate interviews for a constant workload of 5-10 fully-funded requisitions for current operations.


Work closely with hiring managers to determine, understand and continually refine job duties and requirements.


Ensure all job requisitions are entered properly in the Applicant Tracking System (iCIMS) and assist in setting the priority of each requisitions.


Support the Business Development team with sourcing for contingent hires for proposals, RFPs, etc.


Experience in supporting job fairs both in NoVA as well as new BlueWater locations.


Evaluate employment factors such as job experience, education and training, skills, knowledge and abilities, and other data pertinent to qualify candidates.


Ensure constant flow of qualified candidates using web-based tools, social media and various recruiting job boards.


Collect interview feedback and enter all details in iCIMS.


Review applicants that apply directly through the BlueWater website or through our employee referral process to qualify them with all open job requisitions.


Create portfolio of all candidates in iCIMS (completed application, clearance, certifications, availability, EEO data, resume, desired salary, disposition codes, etc.)


Update and Maintain iCIMS database.


Work with the security department to verify clearances for all applicants of cleared positions.


Communicate to candidates regarding the company's hiring decision.


Negotiate salary according to the approved salary in job requisitions.


Coordination with HR on offer letter submissions & acceptances.


Coordination with Project Control on salary data.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
2-5 years technical recruiting experience on government contracts
Occasional travel may be required
Strong customer service and relationship building experience
Must have creativity and knowledge to develop non-traditional recruiting strategies
Proven success in placing staff in IT/professional positions
Ability to work with a sense of urgency that paces current recruiting initiatives.
Highly polished and professional communication skills (email, phone and in person)
Excellent time management and organization skills
Excellent organizational and analytical skills
Proficient with PC's, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Internet and other related software.
Positive attitude with meticulous attention to details
Self-motivated individual who loves to learn and take on new responsibilities
Friendly, outgoing and personable
