Responsible for the system administration and operation maintenance of the Global Command and Control System- Joint (GCCS-J) servers, workstations, peripherals, and networks including upgrades to hardware and operating system software, and maintaining system configuration documentation.  Support network operations in a capacity of project planning/development, systems analysis/design, change management and technical support of key life cycle support applications including DISA STIGs and documenting waivers. Responsible for 24/7 on call service support.  Responsible for ensuring internal, security standards are maintained on all servers and workstations.  Provide Command and Control Personal Computer (C2PC) tactical support to other naval commands within U.S. Fleet Forces Command's Area of Responsibility (AOR) as permissible by U.S. Marine Corp.  Experience in UNIX (HP-UX and Sun Solaris), Windows administration.  Security+ certification required for position. 


Provide systems operations and maintenance support for the full array of MOC tactical systems.
Manage the Information Systems required for Joint and Coalition operations within the CTF-80 AOR
Develop and update process guides/Standard Operating Procedures.
Maintain the systems utilized to provide the Maritime Global Common Operational Picture (G-COP) of all Naval forces in support of U.S. Northern Command for Homeland Defense.
Provide 24x7 on-call technical support as related to operational support of the USFF MOC.


a.     Knowledge in the administration of the Global Command & Control System Maritime & Joint (GCCSM/J),

b.     Knowledge of the Defense Information Systems Agency published Security Technical Information Guidance (STIG) requirements and implementation/compliance process.

c.      Knowledge of Computer Network Defense (CND) compliance requirements for all managed systems.

d.     Must maintain current CompTIA Security+ certification.

e.     Knowledge of UNIX and Windows Administration
